In Mass Effect 2, TaliZorah is able to summon a drone during combat. This means he won't provide cover fire for Shepard and their team - otherwise, he'll try to help, and it's likely the Colossus will kill him during the battle. A Paragon Interrupt will allow Shep to convince him to stand down. While speaking with Kal'Reegar, though, players will be given a morality choice: the injured Kal'Reegar will stand to provide covering fire. Either the left or right route ultimately leads to the Colossus, where (with Heavy Weapons and your squadmates) Shepard can pour on enough damage to overcome the Colossus and destroy it. There's also a straightforward path, but it's a bad idea - as it leaves the player open to a lot of counterattacks from the Geth and offers little cover from the Colossus. The other path will take the player into an upper area - which will have fewer Troopers but will be more exposed not just to the Colossus but the sun. He reveals two paths to the Colossus - one to the west that is well-protected from the Colossus with the plentiful cover but filled with Geth Troopers and Destroyers. Moving down the stairs from this control room, the player can find Kal'Reegar. RELATED: Mass Effect: Legendary Edition - How To Save (Or DESTROY) The Rachni Players can elect to remain in the bunker to hold their ground (which provides cover but risks the player being surrounded) or take a nearby ramp to the upper-levels, exposing themselves to the Geth fire and potentially allowing them to pick off the Troopers more easily. This will set off a fresh assault from the Geth. Once the Geth forces have been depleted, make sure to collect the nearby Medi-Gels, Heavy Ammo, and Refined Iridium before collecting the charge in the bunker. The arrived Geth Rocket Troopers, who are positioned on the catwalks along the path towards the bunker, make matters worse. Otherwise, the player risks the respawning Geth Troopers becoming overwhelming. Upon taking the first demolition charge, Geth reinforcements arrive - the player will need to slowly advance towards the second demolition charge in the bunker during the ensuing firefight. Shepard will have to blast their way into the garage to collect the charge - as well as a med-kit and Tali's journal.
